Faith & Freedom Network Lobby

Faith and Freedom Network (formerly WERG) has maintained a Christian lobby presence in Olympia since 1993. 

It has became apparent in recent years that merely calling on lawmakers and making a meaningful presentation of Christian values and principles is not effective. With the increased funding behind critical issues such as abortion rights, homosexual marriage, loss of religious expression freedoms, assisted suicide, public education policy that directly conflicts with Christian values and a number of other issues, we must do better. 

While there are a number of factors that contribute to successful lobbying, the most important one is an engaged grassroots organization, that at critical times makes its presence felt directly on decision makers in government. Their must be accountability with consequences. 

Although Faith and Freedom Network is often identified as the largest faith-based political activist organization in Washington State, we are a David compared to the Goliaths of the secular progressive, pro abortion, anti-family, anti-marriage and anti-Christian lobbyists. 

We believe that the most effective lobby works on a simple premise: Public policy is made by those who show up. 

Faith and Freedom Network is present during each Legislative session. Both our staff and qualified volunteers join the thousands in our statewide network to present the case on behalf of people of faith and conservatives and our deeply held beliefs.
